Today had my orientation @ NTU... Saw a lot of familiar faces.. its gonna be very competitive i would say as all are the best from poly/jc to be able to enter NTU.Its very well organised and the souvenirs were really nice and useful! haha.. like the NTU jacket most. But thinks are gonna get rough and stressful i guess. Projects are coming real soon and just the lecture notes already cost me $18.. one of e prof. said this, "Stress is good and in fact it will expoilt ur mind to think better"i agree totally but not too much of the stress.. :PNext week schs gonna start and i am going to get busy.. zzz.. time to crack my brain!!oh.. another thing.. i receive a new safra card.. haha.. looks quite stylist compare to the old one.

Background
With a budget of US$80million, "Red Cliff" is the most expensive Asian-financed film to date. The movie is based on historical records of "The Chronicles of the Three Kingdom" rather than the novel, "Romance of the Three Kingdom". In the early third century, the land of Wu is invaded by the warlord Cao Cao and his soldiers. The ruler of Wu, Sun Quan (Chang Chen), calls on the rival warlord Liu Bei (You Yong) for help, but their two armies are still badly outnumbered. However, the strategists Zhou Yu (Tony Leung) and Zhuge Liang (Takeshi Kaneshiro) see that Cao Cao's army is unused to battling on the sea. With 200,000 men, Zhou Yu and Zhuge Liang defeat Cao Cao's army at the Yangtze River.
my review
Character development is more often than not stereotyping. lecher cao. perplexed zhuge. simpleton zhanfei, etc. the drive behind the story is weak. the intrigue of the 3 kingdoms strategising and plotting is replaced by slapstick(Humour) dialogue. Of course a full replication of the original 3 kingdoms novel would be bad, but at least this abridged(edited) version should at least make some coherent(Logical) sense. Sending birds out to recce enemies playing soccer? Generals fighting all the time on foot? Perhaps not enough time for the actors to train to ride horses??? Is more to e one man show when the general like Guan Yu appear.. FIGHTING ON FOOT... BLOODY SHIT. Too bad that came in the form of the smug(self-satisfied) Takeshi Kaneshiro, always nodding away and ever so pleased with himself. The cast did well, come to think of it. They were only let down by the uneven direction of a monumentally expensive production.
Well, this will be worth watching to note its inadequacies. As like my uploaded picture, the main advertising picture is small but the character in the movie is bigger. Focus more on the actors/actresses.

woooooooooooooooooooooohave been quite some days since i last update my blog.. no choice.. pc met some problems.. so had to reformatt.. yafriday went to work.. and sat went to take care of kim as she had fallen sick.. hope she get well soon. just now went for a run.. kns.. a few weeks nv run and my stamina drop like hell.. got to run more le.. oh ya.. i haven post about e GREAT movie "RED CLIFF".... maybe tml.. haha

soon soon soon... schs gonna start lo.. a few of my ns friends already started theirs.. a few work full time n took part time degree. wish all of them all the best on their future endeavors.ytd went to pick karmen with kim n friends.. lol.. a big reunion for those girls, karmen's family n edwin ba.. haha.. saw another ppl using touch phone.. goodness.. cant wait to get my hands on it lo.. theres HTC, Iphone & Samsung.. which is better? LOL.. any opinions?

Ytd went to NP to pick kim out for dinner.. met ben over there.. hahaafter which went St James to have a drink with kim.. i find their service really too slow.. Ladies night they got 5 free drink.. so understandable that the quene is long. but yet, if u knew the quene gonna be that long dun u think shld get another bartender or service crew. From the way the work i found out that the do things slowly and they cant take stress la.. Even the side for guys getting drink is so damn long although the quene is fucking short... piss...Went to powerhouse > Boiler Room > Dragonfly > powerhouse > lobby! :)

Ytd baby wen le vomited.. is like kinda disgusting & smelly la.. i see le also feel like vomiting.. LOL.. luckily i was at home to have my mum taking care of the baby if not she will be busy clearing up and taking care of e baby,..
Cooked corn beef to eat for lunch.. and supper.. haha.. really like the saltyness of it. Goes well with plain rice, pasta or even bread!
Anyone looking for Vitamin C, or calcium or Knee Joint Vitamin please let me know.. one of my friend's mum is selling it.. :)
